Wood and brass fountain pen – converter refillable
This fountain pen combines a wooden barrel with brass elements for handwriting, notebooks, annotations, and line drawing.
Its piston converter allows you to draw ink directly from a bottle and refill the pen without using disposable cartridges.
Ink is not included. Use only liquid ink clearly marked "for fountain pens": inks intended for dip pens, India inks, or thick preparations can clog the feed.
INFORMATION
The converter acts as a small removable reservoir: the piston draws ink from the bottle and then gradually feeds the nib while writing.
The wood may show natural variations in tone and grain. The brass may also develop a patina and darken gradually with use.

FILLING THE CONVERTER
Unscrew the barrel and check that the converter is properly attached behind the nib section.
Turn the piston to expel air, then dip the nib into a compatible ink until the small hole on its surface is submerged.
Slowly turn the piston in the other direction to draw up the ink. Then remove the pen from the bottle and gently wipe the nib and section with a lint-free cloth.
Screw the barrel back on and make a few strokes on a sheet of paper to verify that the ink flows smoothly.
USE & MAINTENANCE
Write without applying heavy pressure. A properly fed nib should deposit ink through contact with the paper without requiring significant force.
Cap the pen after use to limit the ink drying in the nib and feed.
When changing colors or if the flow becomes irregular, fill and empty the converter several times with clean water until it runs clear.
Do not use hot water, alcohol, or household cleaners. For long-term storage, empty the reservoir, rinse it, and let the parts dry before reassembling the pen.

For the first filling, choose a classic fountain pen ink, without pigments, glitter, or waterproof effects. If the flow becomes irregular, rinse the converter and nib first before concluding that there is an issue with the pen.
