ArtSecret watercolor brush pouch
Watercolor brush pouch – washes, blends and details
This pouch contains several natural hair brushes for watercolor, diluted ink, washes, and light gouache.
The different shapes allow you to transition from a wet background or a gradient to smaller areas and details. Natural hair retains water and color, which is particularly suitable for continuous strokes and wet-on-wet techniques.
The brushes have wooden handles and are kept in a pouch for storage and transport. As the fibers are of animal origin, this set is not suitable for those looking for vegan materials.
INFORMATION
A well-loaded tuft allows you to extend a wash or a blend without constantly having to reload with water. For more precise areas, remove some of the excess before touching the paper.
These brushes are best suited for fluid paints. Thick paint or paint that dries quickly in the tuft is harder to remove and can cause the hairs to stick together.

USE & CARE
Moisten the bristles before picking up color. For a wash, load the tuft sufficiently then work in continuous strokes to avoid going back over an area that is already drying.
After your session, rinse with clean water until the color is gone, then gently reshape the tips without pulling on the hairs.
Let the brushes dry flat before placing them back in the pouch. Do not store them while still damp and do not leave them soaking on their tips.
PAIR WITH
To prepare several colors and dilution levels before painting, use the 5-well ceramic palette .

♥ IKANE STUDIO TIP
For a wash, load the brush then make a stroke on a scrap piece of the same paper. If the stroke dries out before the end, reload more; if a puddle forms, remove a little water.
