Wood Carving Tool Set
Wood carving tool set – knives, sharpening, and roll-up pouch
This set brings together several hand tools for carving, hollowing, and gradually removing wood material.
The different blade shapes allow you to rough out an area, refine a contour, work on a hollow, or detail a feature. The hook tool is designed for concave shapes and recesses.
The set also includes a sharpening stone, a polishing accessory, and a roll-up pouch to protect and store the tools between sessions.
INFORMATION
The grain direction directly influences the cut. If the wood starts to tear or splinter, reduce the depth of the cut or slightly change direction rather than forcing the blade.
For your first attempts, a soft, homogeneous wood makes it easier to understand how each tool behaves and to work with short shavings.

USE & PRECAUTIONS
Secure the workpiece before cutting and work with short strokes. Always keep fingers out of the blade's path.
Remove a small amount of material with each pass. A cut that is too deep requires more force and increases the risk of slipping or tearing the fibers.
The blades are sharp: store them after use and keep the set out of reach of children.
MAINTENANCE
Remove shavings and dust after your session, then store the tools completely dry.
When the edge starts to snag or requires more pressure, use the sharpening stone followed by the polishing accessory to hone the blade.
Replace the tools in the pouch to prevent the blades from bumping into each other and to protect their cutting edges.

♥ IKANE WORKSHOP TIP
If a cut starts to tear the fibers, do not persist in the same direction. Use a shorter cut or approach the area from the opposite direction.
