Set of 6 sculpting tools
Set of 6 sculpting tools – wood and stainless steel
This set includes six sculpting tools for shaping, hollowing, incising, removing material, and refining details on a piece in progress.
The various profiles allow you to move from volume work to more precise interventions: cleaning a contour, refining an edge, opening a line, or correcting a small irregularity.
The wooden handles offer a stable grip, while the stainless steel parts allow for cleaner cuts and marks on clay, wax, plaster, or modeling compounds.
INFORMATION
Use the wider profiles to move or remove more material, then switch to the finer tips once the general shape is established.
The result depends heavily on the consistency of the material. Very wet clay deforms easily, while slightly firmer material allows for cleaner contours and incisions.

USE & CARE
Remove material in short strokes rather than digging deeply on the first pass. This helps you maintain better control over thickness and volume.
If the tool pushes and deforms the material instead of producing a clean cut, let it firm up slightly before continuing. If it crumbles or cracks, it is likely already too dry for this type of correction.
Remove residue immediately after use. Rinse if necessary and dry the metal and handles thoroughly before storing the tools in a dry place.
PAIR WITH
To smooth a joint, round an edge, or soften a mark without cutting deeply into the material, use the set of 5 silicone smoothing tools .
To clean an edge or remove excess material once the volume is set, complete your kit with the stainless steel clay finishing tool .
For grooves, small hollows, and details requiring more precision, use the set of 8 precision tools .

♥ IKANE WORKSHOP TIP
Test all six profiles on a scrap piece of the same material before working on your project. Note which ones push, cut, hollow, or smooth the best: you will then know immediately which tool to grab for each correction.
