Short Japanese incense sticks – 4 scents
These short incense sticks of approximately 8 cm offer a burn time of about 20 minutes, suitable for when you do not wish to burn incense for a long period.
Four scents are available: Tuberose, Sauvage, Black Tea, and Cedar, with profiles ranging from dense floral to resinous woody.
As their diameter is slightly larger than some thin incense, always check that your incense holder correctly holds the stick before lighting it.
Tuberose: dense and enveloping floral, with tuberose, jasmine, and rose, followed by a base of musk, sandalwood, cedar, and vanilla.
Sauvage: fresh, aromatic, and slightly spicy, centered around bergamot, lavender, pepper, and cinnamon.
Black Tea: softer and more mellow, with Earl Grey tea, jasmine, rose, milk, vanilla, and musk.
Cedar: woody and resinous, with pine, cypress, juniper, cedar, amber, and guaiac wood.
Place the stick in a stable holder and check that it is held correctly before lighting. Ashes should be able to fall entirely onto a heat-resistant surface.
Light the tip, let the flame burn for a few seconds, then blow gently so only the ember remains.
Never leave incense burning unattended. Keep it away from paper, textiles, curtains, and other flammable materials, keep it out of reach of children and pets, and ventilate the room after use.
For a longer burn time with a primarily woody profile, compare with the Sandalwood or Agarwood thin incense .
For a warmer, floral, and resinous scent, discover the Nag Champa incense .
For a drier profile focused on wood, compare with the natural Vietnamese agarwood .

If you are discovering a scent, burn just one stick first in a well-ventilated room. Wait a few minutes before judging its intensity: the scent continues to evolve during combustion.
